1. Introduction

Fish Audio ("the App") is operated by ReelMoney ("we", "us", "our"), based in India. The App is a text to speech and voice cloning tool, available on iPhone and iPad through the Apple App Store and on Android through Google Play. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles on both platforms, why, and the limited services involved.

Our guiding principle is simple: we collect only what we need to run the service, we never sell your data, and your scripts and voice are processed by our own AI on our own infrastructure, not handed to any third party AI service. By using the App, you agree to this policy and to the policies of the limited services described in Section 6.

2. Try Without an Account

You can try Fish Audio with 3 free generations without signing in. To do this, the App sends a one way hashed device identifier to our servers. We use this hashed value for one purpose only: to count how many free generations the device has used so the free trial cannot simply be reset by reinstalling. We do not store your raw device id, and we do not use this identifier for advertising or to track you across other apps.

3. Account Information

When you sign in with Google or Apple to save work, clone voices, or write longer scripts, we receive a basic profile from your sign in provider, typically your email address and name. We use this to create and identify your account. We do not receive your Google or Apple password. When you use Sign in with Apple, you can choose to hide your email, in which case Apple gives us a private relay address that forwards to you instead of your real email, and we treat that the same way.

4. Content You Create and Store

• Scripts and projects you write and save are stored on your account so you can return to them across devices.
• Generated audio you produce is stored on your account and served from our content delivery network so you can play and export it.
• Generation settings such as speed, volume, and expressiveness are saved with your projects.

5. Voice Cloning and AI Voice Processing

Our text to speech and voice cloning run on our own AI models, hosted on our own infrastructure with proprietary optimizations. Your scripts, and any voice sample you record or upload, are processed on our servers only to generate your audio or to build your private voice model. Please note:

• We do not send your text, audio, or voice samples to any third party AI service. The generation happens on our own systems.
• Your voice sample and your content are never used to train shared or public models. A cloned voice is private to your account.
• You must have the legal right and the consent of the speaker to clone any voice you upload or record. Do not clone a person's voice without their permission.
• You can delete a cloned voice at any time from within the App, which removes the voice model and its reference from your account.

6. Third Party Services

The App relies on a small number of third party services for sign in, payments, and storage. None of them perform the AI voice generation, and each is listed below with its purpose and a link to its own privacy policy.

• Google Sign In and Apple Sign In (both platforms): Authenticate your account. We receive a basic profile (email, name). Subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat (both platforms): Manages your subscription and credit purchases. RevenueCat receives an identifier and your store receipt to verify purchase status. We never receive your payment card details. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store (iOS): Processes the actual payment when you subscribe or buy characters on iPhone and iPad. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing (Android): Processes the actual payment when you subscribe or buy characters on Android. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Cloud storage and delivery: Your projects and generated audio are stored in our cloud storage and served through a content delivery network so you can play and export them.

7. App Permissions and Why They Are Required

The App asks only for the permissions it needs, and each is used only for the stated purpose, never for tracking. The set differs slightly by platform.

On iOS

• Microphone: Used only when you choose to record a voice sample to clone your voice. Recording happens only while you are on the record screen, and only the sample you create is sent to build the voice model.
• Files: When you upload an existing audio sample, you pick it through the system file picker. The App reads only the file you select. It does not access your photos, contacts, or location.
• Notifications (optional): May be used to let you know when a longer render has finished.

On Android

• Microphone: Used only when you choose to record a voice sample to clone your voice. Only the sample you create is sent to build the voice model.
• Files and media: Used only when you choose an existing audio file to upload for cloning. The App reads only the file you select.
• Notifications (optional): May be used to let you know when a longer render has finished.
• Network access: Required so the App can reach our service to generate and save your audio. The App does not read your contacts, location, or other apps.

8. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not use your scripts, audio, or cloned voices for advertising.
• We do not send your voice or text to any third party AI service.
• We do not use your content to train shared or public models.
• We do not require an account to try the free generations.

9. Data Retention and Security

Your account data, projects, generated audio, and cloned voices are kept while your account is active so the App can function. We use reputable cloud providers and standard safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Deleting Your Data and Account

• Delete a project or cloned voice: Remove it inside the App at any time.
• Delete your account: Use the delete account option in the App. This removes your account and the data associated with it, including saved projects, generated audio, and cloned voices.
• Free trial counter: The hashed device id used for the free trial limit is not tied to an account and is retained only to keep the trial count accurate.

11. Children's Privacy

Fish Audio is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will help remove it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
