1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MathLock ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. The App is operated by ReelMoney, based in India.

2. Description of Service

MathLock is a mobile application for Android and iOS that helps you reduce mindless scrolling by guarding distracting apps behind a quick math challenge at the times you schedule. To unlock a guarded app you complete one of five challenges: a timed math duel against a bot rival, a mini sudoku, a cross math puzzle, a math maze, or a KenKen puzzle. Completing a challenge always unlocks the app. On Android the lock uses the Accessibility and overlay services; on iOS it uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. The App is a tool to support your own focus habits. It is not a medical, psychological, or educational service.

3. No Account Required

MathLock does not require you to create an account, provide an email, or sign in. All settings, schedules, streaks, XP, and game progress are stored locally on your device.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

MathLock offers one subscription with two ways to pay, processed through Google Play Billing on Android or the Apple App Store on iOS:

• Weekly subscription: starts with a 7 day free trial, then auto-renews each week until cancelled
• Lifetime unlock: one-time purchase, non-recurring

By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Payment is charged to your Google Play or Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you do not cancel before it ends
• Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription, including during the free trial, through Google Play → Subscriptions (Android) or Settings → your name → Subscriptions (iOS)
• Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple according to that store's standard refund policy. The lifetime unlock is non-refundable except where required by applicable law or store policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Attempt to bypass, manipulate, or circumvent the lock mechanism other than by completing a challenge
• Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the App or its bundled content
• Use the App to enforce app blocking on a device you do not own or have permission to manage
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's services, including the lock mechanism, the Accessibility service on Android, the Screen Time integration on iOS, or any background service

7. Bundled Content

The puzzle generators, game modes, artwork, the Pi mascot, and all other content shipped with the App are owned by or licensed to ReelMoney. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use this content within the App. You may not extract, redistribute, republish, or use this content outside the App.

8. Permissions You Grant

To function, MathLock asks for permissions that differ by platform. On Android these include Accessibility, Display over other apps, Schedule exact alarms, Foreground service, Post notifications, Query all packages, and Receive boot completed. On iOS the App requests Screen Time (Family Controls) access and, optionally, notifications. You can review the purpose of each in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke any permission at any time via your device Settings; the App may not function correctly without them.

9. Third-Party Services

MathLock uses RevenueCat to verify your purchase status, and Google Play Billing (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS) to process payments. By using the App's paid features, you agree to the privacy policies and terms of these providers.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the lock mechanism will work in every situation (for example, if the operating system terminates background services for power-saving reasons, or where the platform's own Screen Time limits apply). The App is a tool to support your focus, not a replacement for your own discipline.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReelMoney shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, lost streaks, lost productivity, or missed notifications.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict the App's services at any time if you violate these terms. You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it. Active subscriptions continue to bill until cancelled through Google Play or the Apple App Store.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
