Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

DSALock ("the App") is operated by ReelMoney ("we", "us", "our"), based in India. DSALock is an interview prep app blocker: when you open an app you chose to guard, it shows a quick practice question before you continue. This policy explains how the App handles your information. Lessons, progress and app locking run on your device. Purchase verification uses the App Store or Google Play and RevenueCat, as explained below.

By using the App, you agree to this policy and to the policies of the limited third party services described in Section 4.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

DSALock stores the following locally on your device. This information is not sent to our servers or RevenueCat:

• Progress and review history — which cards you have seen and answered, your streaks, and your daily goal
• Guarded apps selection — on Android, the package names of the apps you asked DSALock to lock; on iOS, opaque selections from Apple’s Screen Time picker, shared only with the App’s on-device extensions
• Preferences — your chosen intensity, goal, onboarding answers, and other in app settings

Uninstalling removes the App’s ordinary local storage. On iOS, the trial-start timestamp stored in the Keychain may survive uninstalling. This local timestamp helps preserve trial eligibility after reinstalling. Store purchase records and RevenueCat purchase-verification records follow the retention policies of those services.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not read the content of any app you open
• We do not track which apps you use outside DSALock
• We do not collect advertising identifiers, contacts, messages, microphone, or camera data, and we never read your photo library. For purchase verification and trial eligibility, RevenueCat receives an app user identifier: RevenueCat’s anonymous identifier on iOS, or an identifier derived from Android’s app-scoped device ID on Android. The iOS app does not send a custom device identifier
• We do not include advertising, behavioral analytics, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. RevenueCat processes purchase information for verification and purchase reporting as described below
• We do not require an account, email, or phone number to use the App

4. Third Party Services

The App uses a small number of third party services. Each is listed below with its purpose and a link to its own privacy policy.

• RevenueCat: Manages your subscription or lifetime purchase. RevenueCat receives the app user identifier described above, purchase and receipt or transaction information, and the technical information needed to provide its subscription service, such as app, store and OS versions. It verifies purchase status and helps preserve trial eligibility. We never receive your payment details. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store: Processes iOS subscriptions and purchases. Subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing: Processes the actual payment when you subscribe or buy the lifetime unlock. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Some cards include optional links to external problem pages. These open only when you choose to follow a link. The destination website handles your visit under its own privacy policy; DSA Lock does not send your local progress or guarded-app selections to it.

5. Permissions

On Android, DSALock asks for Accessibility and Display over other apps permissions. On iOS, it asks for Screen Time authorization and, on older iOS versions, local notification permission to open a practice session from the system shield:

• iOS Screen Time: Allows the App and its extensions to shield the apps you select and apply your lock schedule. The App does not read what you do inside those apps.
• iOS local notifications: On versions without direct opening from a Screen Time shield, a notification helps you open DSA Lock. These are scheduled on the device; they do not require a remote push service.
• Accessibility service: used solely to detect when you open one of your guarded apps, so the App can show the practice card. It does not read, store, or transmit the contents of any screen.
• Display over other apps: used solely to draw the practice card on top of the guarded app.

We do not use these permissions for any other purpose.

6. Children's Privacy

DSALock is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above reflects the latest version.
