How does DSALock work?
You choose the apps that distract you and when they lock. When a selected app is locked by your schedule, complete a short card and recall question in DSA Lock before continuing.
Which apps can I lock, and how do I change them?
On iOS, choose apps and categories available in Apple’s Screen Time picker. On Android, choose from the installed apps shown by DSA Lock. Open the Locks tab to change your selection or schedule.
What permissions does it need, and why?
On iOS, grant Screen Time authorization to guard your selected apps. iOS 26.5 and newer can open DSA Lock directly from the shield; older versions use a local notification. If notifications are disabled, open DSA Lock from its icon to continue, or enable notifications using the Home banner. Android uses Accessibility and Display over other apps. DSA Lock does not read the content of your other apps.
Why do I sometimes need to return to an app manually on iOS?
DSA Lock can return to supported apps when iOS opens their links. If automatic return is unavailable, finish the card and switch back to the app you were using. The unlock still applies.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your progress and settings stay on your device and are never uploaded to us. See the Privacy Policy.
How do the free trial and subscription work, and how do I cancel?
The App currently includes a three-day local trial, which does not start billing automatically. Continue with a weekly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Any separate store introductory offer is shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Manage them in your App Store account on iOS or Google Play account on Android before the period ends.
How do I restore a purchase?
Tap Restore on the membership screen. Your lifetime purchase or active subscription will be restored on the same Apple Account or Google Play account used for the purchase.
